The Exmouth Chamber of Commerce is a membership organisation aimed at supporting the business community in Exmouth, Devon.
In providing that support, we organise a range of Networking events, a forum for businesses to discuss issues of importance within the town and we act as a link between business and other organisations, especially Exmouth Town, East Devon District and Devon County Councils. We have representatives sitting on the Exmouth Town Team, Water Users Group, Exmouth Regeneration Board and Exmouth Tourism & Marketing forum.
Our regular networking events also give businesses in and around Exmouth the chance to meet, build relationships and do business together, thus supporting and growing the local economy. We attract a range of high profile speakers to our events, from political figures including Rt Hon Hugo Swire MP, business speakers such as the Apprentice’s Katie Hopkins and Exeter City FC Director Paul Morrish. We have active social media links, a monthly column in the Exmouth Journal and our members receive an informative monthly newsletter detailing business news, events and opportunities locally and nationally.
The Chamber is involved in functions including the hugely successful annual Exmouth Chamber Business Awards, an event that brings together the towns’ business community, provides a significant focal point for businesses and generates substantial media coverage. Other events such as the Exmouth Chamber ‘Big Breakfast’ and ‘Cruise for Exmouth’ have been successfully organised by the Chamber to drive business in Exmouth and provide a sturdy platform for trade, discussion and networking.
