The Chamber of Commerce has a seat on the Exmouth regeneration board and represents the business community in this vital time, giving a voice in how the town is developed, and through the added weight of joint membership, strengthening the Partnership’s case when bidding for improvements to the town.
 
Members gain the opportunity to demonstrate their “Corporate Responsibility” to the town from which they make their living, promoting its prosperity, and demonstrating their support for Exmouth and the enterprises within the area.
 
The Chamber has an investment in the Town Management and related Action Groups, which gives The Chamber of Commerce access to planning and resourcing business development in Exmouth.

Chamber Activities include:
Production of the official town Holiday Guide
Management of the Tourist Information Centre
Co-Organising the Exmouth Business Event at Sandy Bay
 
Town Management Activities include:
Representing the interests of the town to outside bodies whose actions affect it
Working with outside agencies, e. g. bus and rail to maximise delivery for Exmouth
Promoting the town by working with local groups, e. g. Exmouth Society, Exmouth Residents Association, Special Needs Action Group, Headway, Exmouth Community Transport.
Working with the Police and other agencies to improve security and reduce crime
Arranging Christmas events, e.g. late night and Sunday shopping to support local traders.
Establishing a regular monthly Farmers’ Market
Organising finance and fittings for the Christmas Illuminations.
