Exmouth Business Awards Glam, glitter and a 3 course meal is planned for the Exmouth Business Awards this April which is open to anyone to attend. Tickets are £29.50 (plus booking fee where applicable) and must be bought in advance with meal selection.

This evening is a ‘black tie’ event.

The Exmouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce and the Exmouth Journal have joined forces to launch the first-ever Exmouth Business Awards.

The idea is to reward businesses of all shapes and sizes – ranging from the biggest to the small independent retailer.

The awards will culminate in a glittering night at The Pavilion on 26th April 2013 starting at 7:00pm, when there will be a host of local entertainment, casino, 3 course meal and, of course, the award presentations.

The awards are open to all businesses within the Exmouth boundaries, including non-chamber members and all are welcome to nominate themselves OR allowed to be nominated.

The various categories will be sponsored by local companies and winners will be presented with trophies, as well as receiving a free editorial with photograph in the Journal.

The categories will be:

  • Best Independant retailer sponsored by the Exmouth Journal
  • Best Holiday or Leisure Experience sponsored by FW Homestores
  • Best Restaurant, Cafe or Bar sponsored by Devoncourt Hotel
  • Best professional services company sponsored by Clinton Devon Estates
  • Lifetime contribution to business in Exmouth sponsored by Ford Simey
  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year (under 30) sponsored by Vibrant Pulse
  • Best Health/Care/Fitness provider sponsored by Partners in Payroll
  • Best customer services – public nomination (non management) sponsored by Thompson Jenner Accountants

Nominations are now closed.

Nominations will be judged by Editor of the Exmouth Journal, Phil Griffin, Chairman of Exmouth Chamber, Ian MacQueen and Principal of Exmouth Community College, Tony Alexander.

  3. I have known David Green for a while and have used his services many times. David has always been totally brilliant in sorting my computer problems out, and if they cant be fixed there and then he takes the time and trouble to ensure the problem is solved with the least inconvinience. I changed to Eagle IT Services after having a problem with my previous computer guy, and am so glad i did !
