Exmouth Chamber Coronavirus Online Business Support Seminar
Secretary of the Exmouth Chamber of Commerce, Laura Woodward-Drake, will be hosting the fourth of a series of popular and very successful online meetings for local businesses and Chamber members to discuss the effects of Covid-19 on their business so far and to focus on sharing experiences and plans for the future.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 6th May 2020 at 11:00am.
Our panel of experts, Ian MacQueen, Business Guru and Chair of Exmouth Chamber of Commerce, Chartered Accountant Ruskin Wilson from Thompson Jenner LLP, Exmouth, and Human Resources Specialist, Belinda Newton from The HR Dept, Exeter will be on hand to listen to your concerns and to give help & advice.
The forum will cover the following agenda:
– What businesses have been affected?
– What support have they seen so far and what will they need?
– What plans do they have to adapt and overcome? Any tips on the following:
— Marketing – what initiatives are people working on at the moment and what have they found most effective?
—-Staffing – what have people done to maintain staff or to keep staff moral up?
—- Logistics – what changes have been made to the way you work and what will you keep once we are out of lockdown?
– How can we promote “love local” to support your business?
The Exmouth Chamber of Commerce Exec team are passionate about being proactive to ensure local businesses can weather this storm and so the aim of this forum is to share business knowledge and lend an ear to those affected by the uncertainty.
