Exmouth Town Team & Tourism Forum Dinosaur Project

Many of you will have read in the local media about the Exmouth Town Team and Tourism Forum Project to establish large lifelike dinosaurs positioned in key, busy locations around the town ( The Jurassic Trail ) to promote Exmouth’s Jurassic Coast links and as an education aid for local schools and children visiting our town.

Some sixteen dinosaurs are planned and all but one of these are now fully funded by way of sponsorship by local businesses in Exmouth. The main exhibit, a Tyrannosaurus Rex destined to be exhibited in Manor Gardens, has yet to be fully sponsored.
The Jurassic Trail will be rolled out in August and a grand day long community launch / publicity event is planned in the Strand, Exmouth that will include pertinent speakers, Dinosaur / Jurassic educational material, open projected film shows and more and intended to involve our community and its schools.

If you would like to join other businesses in the town by sponsoring this key exhibit, or if you feel your business could contribute to the launch event, please contact the Town Manager, Suzanne Birkett, on 01395 276167 or tmassistant@exmouth.gov.uk
